Following the “speak with one voice” objective, this cooperation framework aims to facilitate dialogue with all stakeholders, showing the value that the bancassurance model provides for consumers, for the insurance industry and for society as a whole.. The conference will act in close coordination with the national and European insurance associations.

Establish and maintain ongoing relations with professional bodies at European and international levels.

Examine legislative or regulatory texts relating to insurance and propose desirable improvements.

This Cooperation Agreement is subject to competition laws and requires compliance with competition laws. No member of this Cooperation Agreement will tolerate, facilitate, sponsor, or participate in any activity related to this Cooperation that does not comply with European and national competition laws. Anti-Competitive Practices
Does not tolerate, facilitate, sponsor, or participate in anti-competitive concerted practices and/or agreements (irrespective of the form) or discussions relating to commercially sensitive topics between the members.
Independent Decisions
The members are not restricted in taking independent decisions in relation to commercially sensitive matters.
Adherence to Standards
The members are not required to adhere to any standards, with the exception of those that are legally required by law or required by the relevant European or national regulators.
Data Collection & Dissemination
This Cooperation Agreement will only be involved in the collection and dissemination of qualitative and quantitative information, including statistical data, with the aim of providing general industry information. The participation in such exercises will be voluntary. The output of such exercises will be anonymized and aggregated so that members do not receive commercially sensitive information and cannot derive commercially sensitive information on the basis of the output.
Industry Lobbying
This Cooperation Agreement addresses industry issues rather than company-specific issues when engaging in lobbying and remains within the boundaries of normal lobbying activities that take place in an open, objective, transparent, and non-discriminatory framework.
