Madrid, June 27, 2025 — The Conference of European Bancassurers (CEB) held its General Assembly on June 25–26 at Banco Santander‘s headquarters in Madrid, bringing together key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the evolving landscape of bancassurance. The event was marked by high-level participation from the Ministerio de Economía, Comercio y Empresa Ana Puente Pérez, the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) David Cowan, Insurance Europe Thea Utoft Høj Jensen, UNESPA Mirenchu del Valle Schaan, and France Assureurs Hugues Ribiere.
The two-day conference served as a platform for dialogue on the strategic role of bancassurance in Europe’s financial ecosystem. Discussions focused on the Saving and Investment Union, and the Financial Data Access Regulation, among others, all of which are reshaping the way insurance and banking services are delivered to consumers.
